Nobis E. – Crystal Lake, IL

They gave us a GREAT deal for a very large room with such a nice jacuzzi and large tv and fireplace. The place is soooo quiet and peaceful. Get this, you can sit outside and enjoy a bonfire that they set up for you and supply wood for (its set up all night so you don't even need to ask). I can't wait to go back, this place is CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, COZY, and just plain happy. This is the hidden gem of the Dells.

Sharon – Fond Du Lac, WI

My sisters and I were in charge of a family reunion for 80 people ranging in age from 2-86. Our reunion happens only once every 5 years. We chose Wisconsin Dells because we wanted the families to have a family vacation inside a family reunion. We chose Meadowbrook Resort as our home for 4 days. Scott and his staff were wonderful through the entire process. We were given many options for our housing as they have so many choices. The pools were great for young and old. The movie at night w/popcorn is a nice pump up. The rooms all had refrigeration and microwaves. Some offered mini kitchens. The staff was friendly and helpful. On a scale of 1-10, I rate our stay at Meadowbrook an 11!

Sheri - Jacksonville, FL

There were about 30 of us staying at the Meadowbrook at the Ponderosa Building for 7 days!!! The management was helpful/kind/courteous/thoughtful/considerate, etc. They did everything they could for us and the rest of our group - actually they got all of our tickets arranged for anything we wanted to do. We had kids of all ages and they were always busy - whether it was playing frisbee back near the gazebo, swimming in the pool (or playing in the indoor heated kiddee pool) eating smores by the fire ( which was every night we were there). The rooms were great - I had one with a mini refrigerator and a microwave and my folks had a large refrigerator/microwave/stove/dishes/silverware/table and chairs, etc. It was everything you needed. We would open our back screen door and sit on the deck - you could access all five rooms from your deck on the top and bottom floor. There were chairs and a picnic table to have breakfast at. We often watched the deer from those tables and it was beautiful. We drove about 22 hours from Florida to get there in 1999 and again this past week - we did it because the place was awesome. My parents are in their late 70's and they drove it also because it is just a special place to stay. I don't know what else I can say to convince you to stay there!!!

Guests from Maple Grove, MN

We had a group of 6, two adults, two 17 year olds, a 15 year old and a 14 year old. We arrived about 30 minutes early and had no problems checking in to our cabin, Frontiersmen which was wonderful, very clean and had all the comforts of home. The resort staff we found to be friendly -- The pools were all clean and wonderful. They had campfires every night. The resort is in a wonderful location, close enough to the action but far enough away to be peaceful. We would stay here again, it was peaceful, the cabins were GREAT, and if you get up early enough you can see plenty of wildlife in the forest surrounding the resort.

Gadd - Chicago, IL

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Meadowbrook Resort. We had the pleasure of staying in the Acorn cabin which was very clean, smelled fresh, looked and felt very inviting. The staff was very prompt with clean towels for both kitchen and bath each day. They also kept the trash emptied for us. Our checkin and checkout was friendly and uneventful. The lobby was beautifully kept and decorated with a northwoods theme. Each evening they show a family friendly flick on the big screen t.v. There were two bonfires each night. One in front of the lodge and one behind. The pools were fresh and interesting. The pools accommodate both the old and young with plenty of adults enjoying it with their children as well. We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to returning. The resort is only a few minutes from the Dells main drag...and the water parks. On several days we actually returned to the cabin for lunch then went back to the parks without feeling like we'd missed a beat at all. It felt good, though, to be just far enough away from the action at night to relax and be treated to a "wilderness" get away. If you have any questions, give the resort a call! I did this several times before we left for our trip and they were more than happy to answer my questions.

We have been going to Meadowbrook since 2000. They keep adding things --  Just like someone would do to their own home or cottage. Meadowbrook is unique. We are extremely busy people – when we go on vacation – we want a quiet place for our family. Not the normal business motel/hotel or travel lodge. A place to rejuvenate—to renew the soul—that is what Meadowbrook does. It is a quite place. I love sitting on the porch outside our room, seeing the wildlife, listening to the birds and frogs. We are involved in teaching our children about nature and the wetlands that are being created are fantastic. We normally stay in the Ponderosa and love it. We have had the opportunity to stay at many hotels/motels and have never found any as clean as Meadowbrook. That means a lot to us. Meadowbrook is off the beaten track. We can take our children (ages 7 to 24) and go do all the “Dells stuff” and then come back and relax. We have stayed in the motels/hotels in town – but when I walk into one of those rooms – I feel trapped. And you can’t get away from all the activity. At a Meadowbrook campfire in 2000 my son became interested in being a Cub Scout. Another scout there was whittling – and now we come prepared with pocket knives to create our own marshmallow toasters. All I can say is if you are looking for a unique and peaceful place – this is it.

Knight Family - Heber City, UT

Just returned from a family reunion at Meadowbrook -- the perfect place to hold a reunion. We had enough family attending to rent the entire Ponderosa Lodge. We fixed all our meals there and found the back decks to be perfect. The check in process was fantastic and went real smooth. Smores by the camp fires were nice and I was even able to obtain an extra Blanket for my cold blooded son. We spent an entire day at Noah’s Ark and I highly recommend it. We also took the Ducks and Jet Boat rides. Good time. Be prepared to get wet if you go on the jet boats. WE were soaked. This is a fantastic resort.

GMP - Oswego, IL

We purchased the Horse Tails, Duck Trails and Train Whistles package. We were able to go horseback riding on a very safe trail (one kid rode with each parent) and we enjoyed riding the Ducks, too. I liked the package because the hotel then gave us gift certificates for every activity and we could decide when we wanted to participate in each activity. It was also convenient for our budget-- we only had to bring enough cash to cover food and any shopping purchases because all our activities were included. The folks behind the desk treated us like family. If you want a quiet place off the beaten path but still close to everything and includes family-friendly extras, Meadowbrook Resort is the place for you. We will definitely return!

Kitty - Wisconsin

We travel to the Dells annually and have stayed at the mega-hotel/waterpark facilities many times. We were looking for a quieter experience that included a bit of the gorgeous Dells scenery and popular "North Woods" themed environments. Our cabin was the Mountaineer - a 2-bedroom/2-story stand alone unit that included a full kitchen, full bathroom, and living room with fireplace and TV. It was quaint, comfortable, clean, and most of all, peaceful. The "No Party Policy" is great for families! Housekeeping brought us fresh bath and kitchen towels and removed our garbage each day. It is located just off the downtown shopping area, making it very easy to get to restaurants and theme parks.

Guest from Omaha

A slice of Heaven! Our experience here was fantastic! To be so close to all the action on the Dells, yet feel like you are staying in a secluded mountain hideaway was the best. The atmosphere at the Meadowbrook will be fondly remembered by my family. From the nightly camp fires, to the babbling brook that runs through the property, it was so serene and wonderful. I highly recommend Meadowbrook to all who do not care to stay at the hectic and noisy large hotels connected to the many attractions in the Dells. It is nice to be able to get away from all of that when the day is over.

Shari - Chicago, IL

This is a great place to stay with young children. We had 15 people in our group and it was truly a lot of fun. The staff was very professional and very nice. It was great to be so close to downtown dells. The best thing about this place is that the rooms are VERY VERY clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Sandi -- St. Paul, MN

We stayed at the big waterpark hotels so many times in the past, but this time, we saw an ad for some package deals and reluctantly gave it a try. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised. What we thought might be some kind of gimmick turned out to be a savings for us and a great room to go with it. We stayed in a suite that had a kitchen and a balcony that looked out into the woods, and I would have to say that this was probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed at on any of our trips. The package that we got had a waterpark, a train ride and a duck tour with a bunch of extras thrown in. The kids loved it especially the smores at the campfire at night. We definitely want to go back maybe this winter or spring break and get another package. Can't wait to go back.

Grandparents from Milwaukee

My husband and I took our 2 grandchildren to Meadowbrook Resort for four nights. We stayed in a cabin up on the hill and we had a great time! The indoor waterpark is perfect for little kids. My guys had a great time! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Having been to the Dells numerous times this was a perfect place. Hoping to go back this fall.

MMB - IL

Stayed here for 2 nights and had the Bunkhouse room. Lovely room lots of space and very clean. there were 6 of us in there. Staff were very helpful and had loads of coupons for various attractions. Our room overlooked the pool but was not noisy. Lovely place close to everything and great fun for kids. Will def. go again!

Traveler from West Allis, WI

We stayed in the Alder cabin for 4 nights -- The cabin itself was clean, well stocked and comfortable with cute decorations. (My favorite was the stuffed animal bear skin rug, lol.) The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. They do only light housekeeping for the cabins, (keeping us well stocked with towels and toiletries and emptying the garbage cans,) but that's what we actually prefer. The resort is literally about half a mile down River Road from downtown dells, which is great for when you want to do all the touristy stuff. But it is set back just far enough that you can relax when you're not out and about. We had a great experience at Meadowbrook. The price was good, especially when compared to other cabins that we stayed in the previous year. The room was clean and well stocked. We left planning on returning next year.

Wit - Wisconsin

Our weekend there was fun and stress free, and we had a great reunion at Meadowbrook Resort. Kid's waterpark was fun for the youngest, and the outdoor pool and campfires til late were not a problem for the older. The Elder's handicapable accommodations worked out well. The hidden hiking trail was a bonus. The front desk was accommodating for most things in our party of 70+ -- later checkout can be arranged -- Ducks and Casino van come to the door, and it's enough off the strip to feel "out of the way" yet close enough to the fun. We would stay here again.

Kelly R. - Madison, WI

Our stay this month will happily mark the 5th time we've vacationed at Meadowbrook in the past 7 years. We only live 50 minutes from the Dells, and Meadowbrook is our tradition. Meadowbrook is truly a down-to-earth, understated 'best-kept-secret' that has plenty of amenities and has toddler-friendly water features inside and out. Our initial visit was a family celebration, where we took up the upper row of five rooms in the Ponderosa. We could all join each other outside our back door, coordinating and eating meals together on the very spacious balcony, and then meet again to play card games at night. Unique aspects I appreciate are a lot of kitchen & cooking supplies they include in all or most rooms, and a sturdy table and chairs that we can strap a booster-seat to. It is a rustic, log cabin feel & many walls are covered with logs and north woods decor, and the floors, sinks & toilets have been spotless -- it is homey & spacious. If you're looking for romance, get a jacuzzi suite and find a fine-dining restaurant in town. The resort is a quiet place to wind-down at night or for a nap, offers popcorn & movies every night for kids in their relaxed lobby area where parents can sit nearby & read a book or play checkers.

Rachel R, - Cedar Rapids, IA

Our family reunion had a group of 80 people ages 2 years to 88 years young and we all were comfortable and had plenty to do and accessible to staff and management. The weather helped with the choices and our group loved the uniqueness of the lodge. Would do it again. Thanks Meadowbrook Team.

Jericho - Chicago, IL

We have been staying at Meadowbrook for many years and always come back. The small, family-oriented atmosphere is perfect for our family and just about anyone. The grounds are ideal for outdoors-loving folks with nightly campfires. The quiet, picturesque, environment is perfect to relax in after a frenetic day in the Dells. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the pool and grounds. The management was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and where to eat, anything we needed they helped us with. The family owned and run atmosphere is what sets this apart from the "corporate" giants that are becoming common in the Dells.

Family from Chicago

Clean rooms, friendly staff, charmingly decorated, relaxing lodge, that is close to the main strip but just far enough away that there isn't a lot traffic whizzing by. This was our first stay at Meadowbrook Resort but definitely won't be our last. We have stayed several times at the big indoor water parks and would hands down choose this resort over them. We traveled with 18 month old twins, a 4 year old, my husband & I and my parents (who are in their 70s) and we all LOVED it. There was an outdoor play area for the kids in addition to a small indoor one for toddlers. The indoor pool was perfect for younger kids. All three enjoyed it. It was just deep enough for them yet shallow enough that my husband and I could actually enjoy playing in it with them instead of worrying the entire time. There was a campfire outside and we had a great time roasting hot dogs and making s'mores. The rooms had beautiful views with so many trees. The beds were comfy and clean. Our room was spotless everyday after housekeeping came. There was a lot of room to spread out (and if any of you have babies you know how much equipment they need - pack-n-plays, strollers, booster seats, etc). The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called at least 4 times when making reservations as we had more questions. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and patient every time. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this resort.

Kiki - Fall Creek, WI

I was planing a HUGE family and friends reunion -- I needed a place where it's safe and room to run with the kids -- and I picked "Meadowbrook Resort!!!". I was planning it for a year and looking all over the Dells and kept going back to Meadowbrook. Everyone helped me with all my silly questions, my trials and errors. I contracted out the Ponderosa -- had a lot of room to be in different places -- both decks out in front -- then Saturday I rented the Pow Wow Meeting Room and all had a great time. I got told over and over "you picked a great place!!! -- all had fun and loved the resort -- now I'm planning to head back this fall. "I LOVE MEADOWBROOK RESORT" I kept hearing thru the weekend of the reunion.

Guests from Villa Ridge, IL

We stayed with our two children (age 8 and 15) at Meadowbrook resort on June 20 thru the 24th and had a wonderful time in the Pine Cone cabin. I purchased a ultimate waterpark package deal and was given all my tickets upon arrival. The cabin was wonderful with plenty of space, and after a long day at water parks we loved returning to the peace. My daughter enjoyed the late hours of the pool while I did laundry (still being able to watch her). We particapited in the smores and movie which was very nice. The staff was wonderful and security was great even letting us stay in the pool an extra 30 minutes. Housecleaning did an excellent job. If you want peace and enjoy quiet time, need to save money this place is wonderful. We cooked each day (money saver) and grilled after 11:00 one night. We will be returning. We enjoyed the pools, access to laundry, peace, quiet, and efficiency of everything there. The pools are set up for little ones but my 15 year old makes the best of anything and said he would love to return. Thank you Meadowbrook for helping our vacation be one of our best.

Family from Chicago, IL

We went to the Dells this year again and of course the only choice was Meadowbrook. This time we took my dad, my sister & her husband and her two grown children along with my husband and 3 small kids. We enjoyed the campfires and walking through the grounds. It was peaceful and relaxing after a day of sight seeing and running around. The rooms were clean (we stayed in their main lodge) and housekeeping did a good job of keeping it up throughout our stay. We had a great time and I'm looking forward to going again next year. My sister doesn't even want to wait that long!

Buddy - Sturgeon Bay, WI

The place was AWESOME!!!!! It had a small pool, but the kids loved it. It was only about 10 minutes to Noah's Ark and anything else we wanted to do! We will stay there again.

L. Holzworth

Best family resort in Wisconsin Dells! We are staying here over Memorial weekend with a group of 7-three kids ages 3 & 8. We have stayed at several places in the Dells; Chula, Wilderness, Kalahari, Olympus, Atlantis. This resort was perfect for us and is kept meticulous throughout. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. Even the other people that we met have all been nice. We all agree that this resort's perfect for families who want to be in the Dells but don't want to deal with the crowds. One other thing that we noticed is that all the staff were local and older. You could tell that they took tremendous pride in the place.

Betty - Chicago, IL

This was our first time staying at Meadowbrook Resort, I researched quite a few places trying to make a decision where to stay.. We had 5 adults and two grandchildren ages 2 and 4, they had the most fun. The rooms were immaculate, very nice sized. We stayed in the Lumberjack Suite and had more than enough room. They had activities planned nightly, movies at the main lodge and popcorn, and campfires for smores. We already are getting ready for next years vacation here!!

Bronco fan - Chicago, IL

Totally awesome! I was blown away. Very few things are as advertised but this place exceeded my expectations -- great staff, very quiet atmosphere, friendly guests. I can't think of 1 negative. For a family trip where you want some rest from the crazyness of the parks this is it. Will definitely be back.

OVM - Chicago, IL

This was by far the best place for our family to stay. We sort of found this after a last minute decision to go to the Dells. We stayed in one of the cabins. After having stayed at other cabins, I over packed. They provide everything. The kitchen is fully stocked w/pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave. There is a picnic table, grill and our own parking spots. The cabin was super clean and there is housekeeping. It's close to downtown but not close enough to hear all the hustle and bustle. They do have a swimming pool and indoor/outdoor kiddie pools. It was just awesome and relaxing!

Jane D. - Elm Grove, WI

My husband and I looked at many places hoping to find the perfect place for our family reunion. We have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren aged 1-11. The rooms we chose had 2 bedrooms so the babies could nap every day, and the living areas had a kitchen so we could eat some meals in. Everyone in the family enjoyed the resort and it exceeded our expectations. Even the big kids played a bit in the indoor "waterpark", which the younger kids absolutely loved. We ended each day with a marshmallow roast around the campfire and a movie in the lobby. Thanks to all the helpful employees for making our reunion such a memorable experience.

Debby D. - Chicago, IL

We went on a short vacation to the Dells this was our first time saying at the Meadowbrook Resort. We took our three children 3,11, &14 we stayed in the bunk house our room was by the pool side with the mini kitchen. The room was clean, the kids loved to have separate beds. My husband and I loved the privacy of having the kids beds in the cabin area. Our room was close to the main lobby, I liked the fact we didn't have to travel far to get to our room, that was a plus. The staff was friendly. We got the Wet N Wild package which was nice to have already paid for some of the activities. It is quite and away from the Dells busy area but close enough to everything so if you need to go back to your room for any reason it wasn't far at all, which I felt was convenient. We will be back again!

Bernaisen - Kohler, WI

We stayed on the Horse Tails, Duck Trails & Train Whistles package. They have three different campfire areas where we made smores with the bucket that came with the package. They have a movie each night in the lobby and provide popcorn. The room was a good size, there was plenty of hot water, water pressure was also very good.

Ellie - LaCrosse, WI

I stayed at the Meadowbrook recently for a volleyball tournament at the WI Dells Center. This resort is only a mile from the volleyball center and is a perfect location and the price was certainly right. We had a two bedroom with a small kitchenette. It was exceptionally clean and neat. In fact we ate all of our meals in our room which really helped with our weekend budget. Staff was helpful and kind. I was very realistic in what I wanted/needed in a place to stay and this perfectly suited my needs for the weekend. In fact this is now going to be our "go to" place for the volleyball season because of it's location. If you desire something smaller, simpler and very neat and clean, you will be very satisfied.

Luna

The hotel rooms were very cute- the kids' beds were made to look like part of a cabin. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit and cooked out on the outdoor grills. It was a great place for a mini family reunion!

Auggie N.

My daughter and I spent one night here and we will be back. The room was very clean. The grounds were pretty. If we needed anything the staff was very helpful. The pool was perfect for my 5 year old. They show movies at 7. We also made s'mores at the campfire. We will be back in the fall to see the grounds when the leaves are changing colors.

KJK - New Berlin, WI

This place could not have been more perfect for our group. We had seven families meeting for a reunion. (All of us adopted children through the same agency.) The location was small enough that there was no "searching" for our group. The children (ages 1- 6) LOVED the pools. The indoor kids pool, the outdoor toddler pool and outdoor standard pool were all used by our group. We also made use of the grills and outdoor picnic areas. The bonfire was set up so that it worked well for a big group and was safe for the supervised kids. There was a kids movie in the lobby and they gave out popcorn. The moms had room to chat in the lobby and the husbands found their way to a local pub that was within distance to safely walk back. Meadowbrook is just outside of the dells. It was a country setting, but within 5 minutes of the action. We had one family in our group stay in the cabins. They raved about it. The rest of us stayed in "bunkhouse" rooms in the main lodge. They had two twin beds tucked in a pretend cabin for the kids, which was awesome. We used the hot plates, refrigerator and pots and pans, etc. There was free coffee in the lobby and a small store for other needs. *No restaurant - but there are tons of options within a 5 min drive. We didn't use the sport area, but there was a nice volleyball net, horse shoes, etc. Even if you had older kids, I see this place as a great value.

Tami Y. - Lancaster, WI

It truly is one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed at!! Absolutely gorgeous!! The front desk and the housekeeping staff were sooooo nice and friendly! The pools were adorable and I (being 29) even enjoyed the kiddie areas! They have two "kiddie pools" (one indoors and one out) plus a larger pool that goes up to 4'6". Even the older teens and adults that were staying there were having a blast in all three!! The rooms were so clean!!! We were in one of the Lumberjack rooms and we even had our own private balcony! The decor was so neat!!!... all log furniture and things. The kitchenette was more than enough (no need for the full kitchen for us)... it included everything a person would need... right down to the dish soap, pots, dishes, silverware, and even pot holders! The nightly fires and the movies were so much fun! We wish we did not have to leave! If you love a clean, fun, wooded atmosphere, this place is for you... We will surely be back and we highly recommend this place to anyone of all ages!!!

Kristi B. - Allison, IA

We stayed 3 nights here with our 3 year old daughter. We did the Tikes & Toddlers package and upon check-in they had all of our tickets/coupons ready to go along with directions to everything in the package, which was great. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. and our room was ready even though check-in was not until 4:00 p.m. We had the bunkhouse room with the small "cabin" in it which our daughter LOVED. The room was very clean and spacious and had a balcony looking out over the pool areas. The pool areas were perfect for smaller children. It was great not having to keep track of a small child in a packed water park! The campfires and smores were a nice little touch and I noticed several people taking advantage of the nightly movies in the lobby. I thought the location was very nice as well. The grounds were well kept and it was nice not being on a busy road but yet close to everything. We would definitely stay again!

Family from Chicago

This was our fourth year coming to Meadowbrook and again we loved it. We have a young family (7 year old and 4 year old twins). It is perfect for us. The decor is adorable, rooms are clean and kept up, pools and kiddie play area was perfect for us, movie nights with popcorn, campfire each night, all set in the beautiful wooded area. We met some of the nicest families from Canada to Nebraska. It was wonderful...we stayed nearly a week. Went to see the sites during the day and had a wonderful, peaceful place to come back to at night. My sister was so upset she didn't go with us this year, she has already asked what week we're going next year because as she says "that's my favorite place to go on vacation". If you're looking for nightlife, partying, loud music and wild guests, this is not for you. If you like a family place, we highly recommend Meadowbrook.

Traveler from Monee, IL

This is a family resort. It is intended for people to spend time with their kids. If you have young kids and want them to have a great time, this is the place to go. The people at the check in counter were always really friendly. Always smiling and cheerful and happy to explain your package. The room was clean and neat. Ours had a mini kitchen (microwave, mini-fridge, 2 burner hot plate, sink) and all dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc were there and clean. Bathroom was fully stocked with towels and was clean. There is a fire pit with large stumps to sit on and a fire daily. Overall, we had a great time at this resort and will certainly return. Friendly staff, clean rooms, kid friendly, great location, great price, great package deal. Bottom line is that our 3 year old son had a great time here and since that is the point, we loved our stay here.

Dahlgren - Janesville, WI

When we arrived we were greeted with a very friendly face at the front desk and informed of the family movie which is shown nightly at 7pm and about the campfire for roasting smores...the room was spotless, and very nicely decorated...no phones in the room, but I had no problem making or receiving phone calls...I was even able to connect to facebook from my room...we had a great time and will be back this summer.

Jessebelle L. - Sheboygan, WI

Warm, friendly inviting place with Excellent service. Our kids Loved the pool with bears and bubblers. The water level is perfect for little kids to play. The room was very large with both a microwave and fridge. Love the décor. Definitely will return. Thanks for this great place!

Becky S. - Plainview, MN

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Meadowbrook. We had a great time. Our room was very nice, we stayed in the lumberjack suite in the main hotel area. The room was clean, we always had fresh towels after our daily adventures, and the mini kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast. The hotel service was excellent. Staff were always holding doors for us or giving us directions to our daily trips. The perfect place to stay. We will be back again.

Inga H. - Rock Island, IL

Very good option for team travel! We had a baseball team needing last minute accommodations and were thrilled that Meadowbrook was able to make room for us in their Ponderosa building so that it was affordable for us. Great setup for the team to be able to grill out meals together and hang out on covered deck, space for kids to play whiffle ball, and outdoor pool was within eye sight and a good size for 10 yr old boys to play together. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and we were grateful that we were able to hang out. For what we needed, this place was perfect. When passing several motels in the Dells, we were grateful we called Meadowbrook Resorts our home for the 5 days -- working with the group the way they did was great!

Carlos P.

This is a great place for families with small children. The indoor and outdoor pools are more than enough for toddlers and the heated outdoor pool is well maintained. They have plenty of fire pits around the property, they even add kindling to them every day and leave a stack of fire wood for you. There are grills all over the property for you to use. The rooms are pretty spacious, brand new LCD TV's and DVD players and WIFI. It is amazingly quiet at night, and our son loved sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows. We will be back next year.

Markabaddon

Nice place to stay. We stayed at Meadowbrook the last week in August and we enjoyed the resort. The ultimate water park package was a great deal that made the trip worthwhile. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and the staff was always very courteous. I also enjoyed the location, which was 5 minutes away from most major attractions in the Dells. On the whole, a very nice place to stay and an excellent value.

Darice A.

Family Friendly -- Close to town! Very helpful staff, gave us directions to variety of places--easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. We were there for a volleyball tournament. Really enjoyed the proximity to both WDC and JAG. We had the 2 bedroom unit, very clean. Also used the sofa sleeper, as we had my daughter's friend with us -- utilized the mini-kitchen. The lobby had tables with checkers, plenty of magazines and a book case (take a book, leave a book). The firepit outside was beautiful, warm...Looking forward to a return trip, waterpark and ski packages, too.

Kellydawn

Woodsy wonderland! Nightly campfires, free smores, family movies with popcorn, games, and pure family bonding...every night of our 3 night stay!!!  AND PRIVACY! Absolutely unheard of in those huge resorts in The Dells!!! The resort's Snowman/Winter seasonal, decor theme was adorable. The room we stayed in had a queen bed, sofa sleeper, a mini kitchen complete with cooking utensils, but the best part was the "cabin". It was a walled off space that was, well, literally a cabin complete with two small cubbyhole windows and two twin beds. The room was incredibly spacious -- The indoor swim space is a beaver dam theme, and was definitely geared towards children 8 and younger. However, us parents and our 2 teens were still able to sit and enjoy the soothing bubbles while watching the six year old have a blast. In the summer there is an outdoor pool and what appeared to be other activities such as horseshoes, hiking, volleyball, and bbq grills. The resort offers a variety of inclusive packages that allowed us to visit museums, indoor waterparks, specials on dining, and other family activities. The price and wide variety package choices were fabulous and that was why why we initially chose this resort. I absolutely, 100% enjoyed my stay here and will be returning with my family in the summer and renting one of those cabins further up the hill!

Meadowbrook is perfect for families, make them feel like home since the very first moment.... People at the front desk are gentle and lovely!

Google User

We will definitely be staying here again! Beautiful place..very much like the north woods and its quiet. Plus the price was nice...The rooms were clean and they had cute decorations. We will stay again.

This is THE place for families with small children. We stayed in the bunkhouse room which our daughter loved. She loved the lobby area for nightly movies and popcorn and the campfire. Our room was immaculately clean. A very relaxing stay. Overall, this is a fantastic resort at a great price -- was very reasonable.

My first time here and it was a beautiful experience. The kids enjoyed the nightly movies and making Smores. I have stayed several places in the Dells but this was the best place -- we will soon return. Very nice package deals -- also they give you free gift certificates and directions to all included in your package. I was just here for spring break and the kids didn't want to leave -- I Recommend this place and can't wait for our return in June.  Book here if you're looking for a nice clean affordable place!

Very family friendly.  North woods feel was nice.  Location is away from the busy main drag, but still close enough to get to and from town quickly.

We wanted an "old school" Dells weekend, and were lucky to discover this place. It was extremely clean, affordable, uncrowded and friendly. What a find this place turned out to be. It's located just far enough from the downtown area to be nestled in the woods, but close enough so you can walk downtown if you wanted. The environment is very cozy with a movie and campfire every night. This is a true cedar lodge, and it was very clean. Very comfortable family-owned place.

Great place to stay. We got a great deal on this resort, that included passes to water parks, coupons, and a smores bucket for the nightly camp fires! Try this place out for a nice, comfy place to stay without all the craziness of the major resorts.

THIS IS THE PLACE you want to stay in the dells. It is AMAZING! Went in the fall with my girlfriend to celebrate an anniversary. This place is surrounded by hundreds of VERY tall, GORGEOUS trees exploding with color. The lobby was decorated to feel so homey. The rooms were decorated like few I've ever seen. The theme was woodsy, Alaska-feeling cabin.
